Wedding Website Philippines: What to Include and Examples

Saturday, October 3, 2026

Quick answer

A wedding website is a web page or small site where guests find your date, venues, schedule and RSVP. For a Philippine wedding, add the entourage list, dress code and a map for each venue. Build it with a general builder such as Zola or Google Sites, or with a digital invitation page that already has these sections.

A wedding website is the one place where guests find the date, venues, schedule and RSVP, so they stop messaging you for them. This guide covers what to put on it for a Philippine wedding, what goes in each section for four wedding types, the questions guests ask, a timing guide, and how to compare the ways to build one. It also says plainly where a one-page invitation like ours stops and a full website starts.

If you only need the invitation, see how to make a digital wedding invitation. For a feature checklist, see the digital wedding invitation features guide.

What to put on a wedding website

Builder guides agree on a core set. Zola's guide names RSVP, wedding details, events, photos, your story, schedule and travel, registry, wedding party bios, things to do and FAQs. Riley & Grey adds dress code, whether children are allowed, and a countdown. Vistaprint adds contact information and accommodation details.

The table turns that into 16 sections for a Philippine wedding. The last column is what Imbitasyon Ko has today, from the app itself.

Wedding website examples: what goes in each section

Each table is one build-out, in the order we suggest. The order is our advice, not a rule. The cells list content items to collect, not text to copy. Write the words yourself.

Church and reception. Two venues and a large entourage, so lead with where and who.

Guest FAQ: questions to answer

Answer these on the page, in your own words. This list is our suggestion.

  1. Are children invited?
  2. Can I bring a plus-one?
  3. Where do I park?
  4. What time should I arrive?
  5. What is the dress code, and which colors should I avoid?
  6. Do you want gifts, and how should I send them?
  7. Is there a livestream, and where is the link?
  8. Who do I contact if I am lost or late?

For plus-ones, see wedding plus-one policy.

Ways to make a wedding website

The last row is our own product, so weigh it accordingly.

OptionWhat its own page saysPrivacyFits when
ZolaFree to create and publish, with RSVP, travel info and a photo gallery. A custom domain costs extra, from $17.99Optional passwordYou want a multi-page site and a registry
JoyWebsites, planning tools and registry are free; RSVP includedPassword for specific pages or the whole siteYou want free pages with passwords
Google SitesYou publish a site and choose Restricted or PublicRestricted to named people; hiding from search is a request, not a guaranteeYou want full control and will add your own RSVP form
Imbitasyon KoOne invitation page with RSVP, entourage, maps, dress codeNo password; asks search engines not to list it, but anyone with the link can open itYour guests live in Messenger and Viber

Google's page describes publishing and sharing only, so a wedding RSVP there means adding a separate form. Imbitasyon Ko's Free plan holds 20 guests on the guest list and shows a small watermark; Standard and Premium are one-time payments, not subscriptions. See the pricing page and the free plan guide.

When to launch it

Our advice: put the website link in your save the date, so guests can find details early. Then follow the sourced calendar in when to send wedding invitations.

StepTimingSource
Save the date6 to 8 months before; 8 to 12 for destinationBliss & Bone
Invitation with RSVP6 to 8 weeks before if a save the date went outBliss & Bone
Reply-by date3 to 4 weeks beforeBliss & Bone
Final count to caterer2 weeks before, per one source; read your contractPaperlust

No Philippine caterer terms were found, so confirm your caterer's date first. More in final headcount and RSVP follow-up.

How to make one in five steps

  1. Pick the format. Choose a multi-page site if you need travel and FAQ pages, or a single invitation page if you do not.
  2. List your sections using the first table. Cut anything you cannot keep current.
  3. Collect the facts: venue names, addresses, times, entourage names, dress code colors and the RSVP deadline.
  4. Open the page on a real phone over mobile data. Tap every map button and submit a test RSVP.
  5. Share the link by message. On Imbitasyon Ko, personal links are for guests on your list, 20 on Free. See how to share your digital invitation.

Treat any link like a house address: share it with people you invited. Older relatives may not open a link at all, so a call that names the date and venue is still worth making. Tips are in digital invitations for older relatives.

A website pays off only if it saves you messages. Start with the sections in your layout table, test it on one phone, and add the rest when guests start asking for them.

Frequently asked questions

What is a wedding website?

It is a web page or small site where your guests find the wedding details in one place: date, venues, schedule, RSVP and anything else they would otherwise message you about. Guests open it from a link on their phone.

What should I put on my wedding website?

At minimum, both names, the date and time, each venue with a map, the schedule, the dress code and a way to RSVP. For a Philippine wedding, add the entourage list. Photos, your story, gift details and a livestream link are optional.

Is a wedding website the same as a digital wedding invitation?

They overlap. A digital invitation is usually one page that invites guests and takes the RSVP. A wedding website is usually bigger, with extra pages for travel, a registry and FAQs. Some tools, including Imbitasyon Ko, give you a single invitation page that covers the essentials of both.

Can I make a wedding website for free?

Yes. Zola and Joy describe their wedding websites as free, and Google Sites lets you publish a site. Imbitasyon Ko has a Free plan with six themes, RSVP, a map button and sharing by link, but it holds 20 guests on the guest list and shows a small watermark. Each tool limits something, so check what yours leaves out.

Can I keep my wedding website private?

It depends on the tool. Zola and Joy offer password protection, and Google Sites lets you restrict a site to named people. Imbitasyon Ko has no password; its invitation pages ask search engines not to list them, but anyone holding the link can open it.

Do I need a wedding website if I send a digital invitation?

Not always. If your invitation page already shows the schedule, maps, entourage and RSVP, a second site mostly duplicates it. Add a separate website when you need pages it lacks, such as a travel guide or a long FAQ.
