Wedding Gift Registry Philippines: Where to Register and How
Monday, August 31, 2026
Quick answer
Register with a store that ships to your home, list about 5 to 20 items, and share the link on a card, your wedding website or your digital invitation, not on the invitation face. Rustan's, Crate and Barrel, Mayfair & Co., Domesticity and The SM Store run registries. Add a cash option too.
A registry stops guests from guessing. It does not stop guests who prefer an envelope. This guide compares the Philippine programs that publish their terms, shows how many items to list, and explains how guests find the list without it going on the invitation. The peso side of gifts is in wedding gift ideas and how much to give.

What a registry fixes, and what it does not
| A registry fixes | A registry does not fix |
|---|---|
| Duplicates, such as three oven toasters (Nuptials.ph's example) | Guests who prefer to give cash |
| Guests who want an object but have no idea what | Relatives who buy off the list |
| Sizes, colors and models you would have had to exchange | Guests who never see the link |
Nuptials.ph (Chryss Segovia, June 18, 2020) calls a registry "a courtesy for your guests" rather than a list of demands, and says registry services in the Philippines are "typically provided free of charge" to an engaged couple. Mayfair & Co. also calls creating its registry free (see the table). Our advice: run a short registry for guests who want an object, and add a plain cash line for the rest. The wording is in wedding invitation wording for monetary gifts.
Where to register: five programs, read on September 30, 2026
Terms below are quoted from each program's own page.
| Program | Couple side | Guest side | Channel named on its page |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Registry by Rustan's | "Receive personalized guidance from our dedicated wedding specialists" | "find a wedding registry to give the perfect gift" | Not stated on its page |
| Crate and Barrel PH | 2 complimentary stemless wine glasses on completing; "an exclusive 10% discount* for three months after the big day"; one-time free shipping | "a one-time 10% discount* when purchasing a gift for you" | Where couples register: registry experts at SM Aura Premier, SM Makati and The Podium, all in Metro Manila. Where guests buy: not stated |
| Mayfair & Co. | "simple and entirely free"; a "5% REBATE" gift voucher; "10% OFF on all items in the Bridal Registry" (for whom, not stated) | "FREE DELIVERY" of gifts to the couple's home address | Its website is where couples add items; where guests buy is not stated |
| Domesticity | "a 10% discount on your next 6 online purchases" after the event | Guests outside the Philippines can buy | "only available online" |
| The SM Store Gift Registry | "sign up for free on the SM E-Gift Registry app or website," or visit the store's Gift Registry Associates | Perks "for both celebrants and guests": SMAC points, free gift wrapping, delivery per the celebrant's instructions. Pay by card, GCash, GrabPay or store cash | The app, the website and SM stores |
Fine print: Crate and Barrel's discounts are "Valid on regular priced items only," and consignor items are excluded. Mayfair's page does not say who its 10% discount is for, so ask the store. The SM Store's terms and FAQ pages loaded empty when we tried them, so we could not read its terms.
Lists go stale. Nuptials.ph's 2020 list includes MUJI, but MUJI Philippines' FAQ now says "We do not offer gift registry services but we do offer electronic gift cards which you can purchase here in the online catalog." The same list names Knots and Pans, and its website did not load when we tried it on September 30, 2026. Nuptials.ph also suggests signing up with at least two registries, citing tips from other brides, and choosing ones with multiple locations because not everyone has easy access to an online registry.
Domesticity's published terms
Domesticity's FAQ answers questions most stores leave unsaid:
| Question | Domesticity's answer |
|---|---|
| Are items held for me? | "Items will be considered reserved only when your guests have purchased an item" |
| How long is the registry online? | "posted 2 months after the event has passed" |
| Can I return extras? | Returns and exchanges "60 days after your event has passed"; the celebrant pays delivery |
| Who can create one? | "celebrants within the Philippines" |
| Can guests abroad buy? | Yes; a non-Philippine PayPal account gets a separate invoice |
| Can guests buy off the list? | Yes, with the celebrant's shipping address |
Ask any other store the same six questions before you commit.
Build a list guests can finish
Nuptials.ph's cash-gift page (Justine Lubag, June 11, 2020) suggests choosing around 5 to 20 items, depending on how many guests you invite. The same page advises offering both a registry and cash, so guests who dislike giving cash still have an option. The rules below are ours.
| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| Spread items across three price levels | Nobody should feel forced to overspend |
| Keep several items at ₱1,000 to ₱2,500 | Nuptials.ph's registry guide says guests "typically spend Php1,000 to Php2,500 on a wedding gift" |
| Nothing that needs assembly or a service call | It becomes your chore later |
| Only things you would buy at full price | A registry is not a wish museum |
| Confirm the store delivers to your home | Gifts should not arrive at the venue |
Nuptials.ph's last-minute gift page says most guests give ₱2,000 to ₱5,000, so its two figures differ. For how much guests give in cash, see wedding gift ideas. Your plate cost is in how much a wedding costs in the Philippines.
Getting the link to guests
Nuptials.ph says most Philippine registry services give you printed cards to include with your invitations, and some couples put a note on their wedding website. Its sample wording says your presence is "more than enough," then offers the registry to "family and friends who have been asking for gift ideas." Our advice: do not print a registry request on the invitation face. Use one of these routes.
- A gift section on your invitation page or wedding website.
- A separate insert card, if you print.
- The entourage, who tell relatives that never open links.
- A one-line answer when someone asks.
A wishlist on your Imbitasyon Ko invitation
If you do not want a store registry, Imbitasyon Ko has a Gift Wishlist inside the gift section. It is included in Standard (₱499) and Premium (₱999), both one-time, and not in Free. See pricing.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| You add items | Up to 20, each with a name, an optional note (size, color) and an optional http(s) link, for example a Shopee or Lazada listing |
| A guest opens the page | Each item shows "I'll Give This"; a link opens as "View Gift" |
| The guest picks an item | They type their name and confirm |
| Other guests see it | The item turns to "Already Chosen"; the name is not shown to them |
| You see who chose it | The name appears only to you, in the editor and on the RSVP page's Gift Wishlist tab |
| A guest changes their mind | "Undo my choice" works from the same device only; you can reset any item |
Claiming marks intent, not payment. Imbitasyon Ko never processes purchases or funds, so the guest buys wherever your link points. The gift section can also hold an address for boxed gifts, alongside bank, e-wallet and QR details. Wording for the registry line is in the monetary gifts guide.
Five failures, and the fix for each
| What goes wrong | Fix |
|---|---|
| The list runs out before the wedding | Add a second tier of items when a third remain |
| Gifts arrive at the venue | Set delivery to a home, and say so |
| Guests buy "something better" | Leave two or three flexible items |
| Nobody finds the link | Put it in one place and repeat it in the RSVP reminder |
| You do not know who gave what | Check the store's registry report, or your wishlist tab, before writing thank-you notes |
Thank-you notes are in the thank-you message guide.
The short version
Register where guests can buy and where gifts ship to your home, keep the list to about 5 to 20 items, and put the link on a card, a wedding page or your digital invitation. Leave a cash door open too.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I register for a wedding gift in the Philippines?
Rustan's, Crate and Barrel Philippines, Mayfair & Co., Domesticity and The SM Store Gift Registry all run registries. Nuptials.ph (June 18, 2020) also lists Landmark, AllHome, Philux, Gourdo's and Abenson, but check that a program still exists before you commit.
How many items should a wedding registry have?
Nuptials.ph suggests choosing around 5 to 20 items, depending on how many guests you invite. Imbitasyon Ko's wishlist accepts up to 20 items. Spread them across price levels so guests are not forced to overspend.
Does it cost anything to create a wedding registry?
Nuptials.ph says registry services in the Philippines are typically provided free of charge, and Mayfair & Co. calls creating its registry simple and entirely free. Ask each store at sign-up, because terms differ.
How do I tell guests about my wedding registry?
Nuptials.ph says most Philippine registry services give you printed cards to include with the invites, and some couples share a note on their wedding website. Do not print a request for gifts on the invitation face. On a digital invitation, put the wishlist in the gift section.
Can guests abroad buy from my registry?
It depends on the store. Domesticity's FAQ says anyone living outside the Philippines can buy, though the celebrants must be within the Philippines. Check each store's terms before you count on overseas guests.
Should I add a cash option next to a registry?
Yes. Nuptials.ph advises offering both a registry and cash so guests who dislike giving cash still have an option. Keep the two together in one gift section.
What happens to my registry after the wedding?
It depends on the store. Domesticity keeps a registry online for 2 months after the event and allows returns and exchanges for 60 days, with the celebrant paying delivery. Crate and Barrel says its newlywed discount runs for three months after the big day.
