Wedding Package Philippines: What Is Included (and What Is Not)
Friday, October 16, 2026
Quick answer
A Philippine wedding package bundles a venue, a menu and some styling, usually with a room night, but car, lights, coordinator and corkage differ by property. Published prices range from PHP 75,000 for Shangri-La Mactan's intimate ceremony package to PHP 460,000 from Dusit Thani Manila, before service charge and taxes.
A wedding package in the Philippines is a bundle: a venue, a menu and some styling, often with a room night. This guide reads five hotel and resort packages line by line, shows which peso prices they publish, and lists what to confirm before you sign. You will learn what is usually included, what varies between properties, how service charge and taxes change the total, and ten questions to ask.

Every figure below comes from the property's own page or PDF, read on October 16, 2026. This guide reads venue-led hotel and resort packages. An all-inclusive package covers most of the day under one contract, while a partial package covers only some services and leaves you to book the rest. Caterer-led bundles sit between the two, and we cover them briefly below without prices because we found none on the original pages. Packages change, so treat them as examples of how packages are built, not as a price list. For the wider budget, see how much a wedding costs in the Philippines.
Five packages, side by side
Where a page publishes a validity date, we give it. Where it does not, we say so.
| Package | Published price | Guests | Validity on the page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu, reception, outdoor, 25 guests or fewer | PHP 100,000 for the first 10 guests, then PHP 6,500 per person | 25 or fewer | Until December 31, 2026 |
| Shangri-La Mactan, intimate ceremony, 25 guests or fewer | PHP 75,000 | 25 or fewer | Until December 31, 2026 |
| Shangri-La Mactan, intimate reception, indoor, 25 guests or fewer | PHP 85,000 for the first 10 guests, then PHP 5,000 per person | 25 or fewer | Until December 31, 2026 |
| Shangri-La Mactan, buffet reception, indoor | PHP 4,350 to 5,650 per person, tiered | Minimum 30 to 200 | Until December 31, 2026 |
| Dusit Thani Manila | From PHP 460,000 "+++" | Not stated on the page | Booking period: now until December 2026 |
| I'M Hotel, Makati, Classic Elegance, Filipino menu | PHP 260,000 for 100 persons; PHP 2,600 per extra person | 100 | Sheet titled 2024 |
| Mövenpick Boracay, four packages | No peso price published | Alya maximum 30; Tala and Luna minimum 30; Sol minimum 50 | No date on the page |
| Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Signature and Regular | No peso price published | Signature minimum 300 | No date on the page |
Shangri-La's per-person ranges: the set menu is PHP 4,050 to 5,350 and the buffet PHP 4,350 to 5,650. The lower rate applies at the higher minimum, 200 guests. The outdoor buffet with live grills is PHP 4,700 to 6,150. Its ceremony package, for the Ocean Pavilion or outdoor spaces, is PHP 125,000. The intimate ceremony (2 hours, altar flowers, bouquet and boutonniere, an English-speaking officiating minister, basic sound) is PHP 75,000. The intimate indoor reception (4 hours, four-course set menu, one beverage round, one-tier cake, centerpieces, a Panorama Suite night, basic sound) is PHP 85,000 for the first 10 guests.
What the five packages include
This is the core of the comparison. An entry means the page names the item, and a dash means it does not. A dash is not proof the item is excluded, only that the page does not promise it.
| Item | Shangri-La Mactan | Dusit Manila | I'M Hotel (2024) | Mövenpick Boracay | Las Casas |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Venue time | 4 hours | — | 4 hours | — | 4 hours |
| Cake | Three-tier (optional: pick 2 of 8 extras) or one-tier on intimate | Three-layer fondant | Three-layer, base edible | Three-layer in Tala, Luna, Sol | Three-tiered |
| Flowers or centerpieces | Local-flower centerpieces (optional: pick 2 of 8 extras) | Guest tables, presidential and couple's tables | Guest table centerpieces | Centerpieces and ceremony flowers | Head table and each guest table |
| Bridal car | Ceremony choice, 3 hours | Chauffeured, 3 hours, Metro Manila | — | "Bridal Movenpick Cart" | Horse-drawn carriage |
| Sound or lights | Basic sound system | Party lights and sound system | Basic sound, LCD projector | Audio system or audio visual system | Basic audiovisual, 4 hours |
| Toast bottle | — | Sparkling wine | Champagne, one bottle | Sparkling wine, Tala, Luna, Sol | Sparkling wine, one bottle |
| Corkage | Ten bottles of house wine (optional: pick 2 of 8 extras) | Ten bottles of wine or liquor | — | — | — |
| Invitations | — | — | — | — | — |
| Event coordinator | — | — | — | Dedicated event executive | — |
| Room night | Two nights, Panorama Suite | Two nights, Premier Executive Suite | Premier Suite overnight | Two nights, Junior Suite in Tala and Luna | Overnight for two in Regular |
Three patterns stand out:
- "Choice of" lists are not all-inclusive. Shangri-La's reception includes a menu and a room, then lets you pick two extras from a list of eight. Its ceremony package lets you pick three from eight.
- Cake does not always mean edible all the way. Dusit's is fondant with "an edible base". I'M Hotel says "only the base is edible". Mövenpick says "edible base only". Ask what the guests actually eat.
- None of the five lists invitations. Dusit lists a guestbook, menu cards and place cards, and Las Casas a guest book, but none lists invitations. That item stays with you.
Package types and who they suit
The five above are hotels and resorts. Caterer-led bundles work differently.
| Type | What it looks like | Source | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel | Ballroom or function room, set rates, a room night | Dusit Manila, I'M Hotel | Couples who want one contract and a fixed venue |
| Beach or destination resort | Ceremony plus dinner, guest minimums or maximums, stay included | Mövenpick Boracay, Shangri-La Mactan | Smaller guest lists and a trip around the wedding |
| Heritage resort | Church rental, carriage, tours, a large minimum on the top tier | Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar | Large guest lists and a themed setting |
| Caterer-led bundle | Catering plus a partner venue and decor | Juan Carlo's guide (undated) | Couples who want the venue picked with the caterer |
Juan Carlo, a caterer, says all-inclusive packages "typically include the venue, catering, décor, photography, entertainment, and sometimes even an officiant", and that bundling often provides savings. That is its own claim. We found no published comparison, so price your own list both ways.
What drives the total
The headline price is rarely the final one. These are the terms the five sources print.
| Cost driver | What the sources say |
|---|---|
| Service charge and taxes on top | Shangri-La and Dusit: 10% service charge plus government taxes |
| Taxes already included | I'M Hotel: rates include local taxes and fees. Las Casas: includes all taxes and service charge |
| Per-person tiers | Shangri-La's rate falls as the minimum rises, from 30 guests to 200 |
| Minimum event spend | Shangri-La: event spaces are subject to a minimum event spend |
| Room requirements | Shangri-La beachfront events: minimum guestroom booking, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM only |
| Extra guests | I'M Hotel: PHP 2,600 per person over 100. Shangri-La: PHP 6,500 per person over 10 on the outdoor package |
| Rate changes | Dusit: rates can change without prior notice. I'M Hotel: until contract signing |
Two worked examples, our arithmetic on the published rates:
| Scenario | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Shangri-La outdoor reception, 25 guests | PHP 100,000 + 15 × PHP 6,500 | PHP 197,500, then 10% service charge and taxes |
| Shangri-La indoor buffet, 100 guests | 100 × PHP 4,550 | PHP 455,000, then 10% service charge and taxes |
The two are not comparable with I'M Hotel's PHP 260,000 for 100 persons. They sit in different cities and years and cover different things, and I'M Hotel's figure is for 2024 and includes taxes. Minimum event spend and minimum room booking apply separately and are not in either figure. Compare rows only when the date, guest count and tax terms match.
Hidden costs and add-ons
What a package leaves out is where budgets slip. Ask about these in writing.
- Outside suppliers and drinks. Dusit includes corkage for ten bottles. Beyond the allowance, your venue's own list applies. See corkage fees in the Philippines.
- Lights and sound. Several packages promise only "basic" sound. A larger setup is a separate supplier or an upgrade. Our lights and sounds guide lists what a full package covers.
- Time. Four hours of venue use is common in the sheets above. Ask what overtime costs.
- Food for suppliers and crew. None of the five pages says whether your photographer or band is fed. Ask.
Ten questions to ask before you sign
- What is the total at my guest count, with service charge and taxes?
- What is the minimum guest count, and what happens if fewer come?
- What does the minimum event spend or room booking require?
- Which items are fixed, and which are "choose two" or "choose three"?
- Is the cake edible beyond the base?
- Which hours are included, and what does overtime cost?
- Is sound "basic", and what does an upgrade cost?
- Is there an event coordinator, and who is on the day?
- Can I bring outside suppliers, and what does the venue charge for them?
- How long is this price held, and what is the deposit and cancellation term?
Pair this list with the wedding venue checklist before your site visit, and see how to choose wedding vendors for the suppliers a package does not cover.
Reading a package before you sign
Put each package into one row: total at your guest count, taxes and service charge, fixed items, choice items, hours and room nights. Then add what you would still buy separately, such as invitations. A digital invitation with RSVP, for example from Imbitasyon Ko, also gives you a firm headcount to hold the venue to its minimum. Choose the package whose total, not headline, fits your budget.
Frequently asked questions
What is included in a wedding package in the Philippines?
All five pages name a cake, flowers or centerpieces and a sound system, though at Shangri-La Mactan cake and centerpieces are choice items. All five name a room night and three name venue hours. Cars, corkage and an event executive appear in some and not others, so compare the lists line by line.
How much is a wedding package in the Philippines?
Published prices in our five examples run from PHP 75,000 for Shangri-La Mactan's intimate ceremony package to PHP 460,000 from Dusit Thani Manila. Mövenpick Boracay and Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar publish no peso price on the pages we read. Service charge and taxes can sit on top.
What does an all-inclusive wedding package mean?
There is no standard definition. One Philippine caterer describes it as venue, catering, decor, photography, entertainment and sometimes an officiant. The hotel packages we read list a smaller set, and none lists invitations, so read the inclusions rather than the label.
Are taxes and service charge included in wedding packages?
It varies. Shangri-La Mactan and Dusit Thani Manila state a 10% service charge plus government taxes on top. I'M Hotel's 2024 sheet says its rates include local taxes and fees, and Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar says its packages include all taxes and service charge.
Is a wedding package cheaper than booking suppliers separately?
We found no published comparison. A catering company says packages often cost less than separate vendors, but that is its own claim. Price your wish list item by item, then compare the total with the package total.
How many guests do I need for a hotel wedding package?
It depends on the property. Shangri-La Mactan's per-person rates start at a minimum of 30 guests, Mövenpick Boracay's Tala and Luna packages need at least 30, its Sol package at least 50, and Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar's Signature package at least 300.
